I got this off a guy who inherited it from his grandfather in 1973 who it kept in his attic for many years. I'm looking for a reverse shot of it.

I just love those "grandfather" and "stored in the attic" stories!

From the code, my guess is Grandpa paid $60.00 for it. I'm sure you paid a little more for it?

Looks to be a nice coin!

I met this guy and he was selling off his collection over the years.....He had some really nice pieces..and he was selling them off to set his grandchildren up for school and also because it was time to spend some cash on himself...I asked him if he had any Indian proofs...He had a few, but this was the last of them....I saw the writing on the coin holder and asked him about it.....so it's been in the family from this guy's grandfather....so hyis grand children's great-great grandfather. It's was unclear how long it was in the Sr's possession before it was inherited in 1973. But it's in real good condition.
