Yikes - that poor eagle has bunions on its toes and scales instead of feathers on it's body!. Yes, pretty bad fake.

Definitely a fake. Details do not match known authentic examples. On the obverse, the eye, hair, lettering/numbers, and stars are off. On the reverse, lettering and the eagle have missing or incorrect detail compared to real coins of the same year.

The design is similar to a genuine one, but if you look closely you will see that it is not the same as a genuine one.
Try googling an image from PCGS to get a genuine example and then begin comparing the elements, you will likely see it on your own.
Additionally, since you have the coin in hand, you can weigh it, and check if it sticks to a magnet. The magnet test may add some certainty for you if it sticks, but realize that if it does not stick to a magnet - It is still fake!

has no one noticed the watermark on the obverse and reverse, that would be my first red flag..

Thee fact that there were only 1758 produced and if yours was genuine,
it would probably be worth around $200,000 dollars might be a clue.
If you want to compare with a genuine one, look under US Coin Facts
on the sidebar and compare that picture with yours.
