Hello, I won an auction and 4 rolls of 1960 D pennies, when I went through and to me they look like 1960 D Small over Large date. Here are pics of 1 of them. Any opinions? Thank You

Sorry, I don't think you have SD/LD. I see what is common master die doubling on the lower curl of the six and maybe some minor MD. The real deal is quite drastic and easily recognized.

This is the real deal:

Your original statement was for a 1964D and ended up with the 1960D. Does show what almost looks like a 60 over 60 large over small, almost.

I see a normal small date Denver coin. On the small over large dates, note the zero? They are much larger than the small date zeros.

Ya my posts have been getting crossed, I have a uncirculated roll of 1964 D nickels that I won in auction, I tried to post earlier . , I'm starting to go through all my coins and finally post some pics of what Might be errors or top grade coins , I've been collecting for the last 2 years now from various different auction sites and such with no rhyme or reason of my purchases , I feel it's time to go through all my purchases , mint and proof sets and bulk items to check for different varieties which is going to take me forever !!

Keep 'em coming! Don't be disheartened by a "negative" from CCF. There are nice finds out there to be had, but they are becoming increasingly more difficult to find. The one guarantee is that the members here will give straight and informed answers to your questions.
