I am a beginner at this and I recently looked through my collection of Eisenhower dollars looking for the mints and dates of each. One of my Eisenhower dollars that is in good condition and dated 1974 doesn't have a mint on it at all. When I looked up information on the web I saw that Philadelphia minted a few without marking the "P" but none are known to have survived. How can I distinguish this coin to either be one of those or just another Eisenhower dollar?

Hello Aymie and welcome to the Coin Community Forum! Lots of people here know lots more than I do, but I'm pretty sure that no Ike dollars show a "P" mintmark. I don't think the Philadelphia dollars had a mintmark until the issue of the 1979 Susan B. Anthony dollar. So, I think the dollar you have is normal.
