I'm almost certain that this is one, but I wanted to get second opinions. I went ahead and picked it up for $8, a pretty small gamble. Thanks for any opinions! Pics are from the seller.

Take coins out of holders before taking pics whenever possible. It looks like it needs an acetone dip.

Yup, that's a winner. Strong thickness on the tail of the 9, the bottom of the U in TRUST and the IBE of LIBERTY are the obvious bits, but the right leg of the R in TRUST on these looks almost round. Once thought to be rare it has become apparent by surfing ebay listings that they are actually rather common. Price dropped a whole bunch a couple years ago as supply overcame demand.

I'm not so bothered by its value having diminished as I'm in the hobby mainly for my own enjoyment and really just wanted a nicer example of this coin. Though not in amazing condition, I believe it will satisfy me. I'm planning on giving it an acetone soak and then I'll take better pics. Thank you!

Panther, we are looking at a Doubled Die Obverse for 1925 S. http://doubleddie.com/524255.html The OP indeed has the real deal. Nice Cherrypick!
