Hello guys, I'm not sure if this coin is Medieval, to be honest I have no idea about the age of this coin, tho it looks old. I found it 2 days ago but couldn't find any similar coin . *** Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. ***

Please give a picture of the other side, or better, cropped pictures of both sides.

The problem is, that is almost invisible on the other side, or it is one side coin.

@WS, ok well the bad news is I haven't found your coin. That said, I think that I can help point you in a good direction. First, I'm about 85% sure that the top four characters are the date: 1622. There is a small chance that it is actually 1522 and a minuscule chance that it is 1822. The III at the bottom of the coin is most likely the denomination. The GB could be a clue to the particular location, but seems more likely to me to be the mintmaster's initials. My best guess is that it is a uniface German States 3 Pfennig. Of course, figuring out *which* German Sate is really the hard part. I'll keep looking, but so far have not gotten any matches. Maybe someone else here can build off of this info.

I agree that the date is almost certainly 1622; that would put it in the Kipper und Wipper period, when lots of small German states made short-lived debased coin types.
I can try to look, but I don't really have any good catalogues, and in ten or so minutes of googling I couldn't find a match either. (Some Schweinfurt issues are similar, but not quite similar enough.)

@Spence I also thought it might be 1622, in additional info its diameter is 13mm, its really small coin, also after long day googling I couldn't find any info about that, the coin is really riddle for me. The lack of the other side is not helpful either... I thought this eagle or the three hills under him could point some country/state but as long as I search, I havent seen any coin with "3 hills and eagle". I will keep searching, thanks really for your researching, it made me even more sure it could be 1622. @january1may do you think these short-lived coins are documented anywhere? or these were not even noticable through the years and history forgot about them.

This is Goldberg which translates as "golden mountain" shown by the mountain, it is a City in Silesia, hence the eagle above.
A rare coin indeed.

The denomination is "3 heller" (a kipper 3 heller as noted by Spence).
