Would someone please ID the KM# for this coin - I cannot seem to find it on the web.
obv: CAROLVS GVIL.FERD.D.G.DVXB.ETL
horse running left over log; M.C. under log
rev: IIII PFENN 1792 (on 3 lines)
MVIII E.F MARK GONV.M
I have found some coins similar to the obverse but none matching this 4 pfennig.
Also, if you know the link to this info, please share it with me.
Thanks

A fairly common type that enjoyed a long run of production. KM 997 is correct. 1792 MC.

The obverse is CAROLVS GVIL FERD D. G. B. ET L. = Charles William (Karl Wilhelm) Ferdinand, by the Grace of God, Duke of Brunswick and Lüneburg

The reverse is MVIII E. F. MARK CONV M. = 1008 Eine Feine Mark Conventionsmetal (1,008 coins to equal 1 silver Mark)

The standard used at that time for Brunswick was 1 Thaler = 1/14 Mark, so 4 Pfenning was equal to 1/72 Thaler or 1/1008 Mark (i.e. 72*14)

Thanks, men, but one question for paralyse: Did you forget to include the DVX between the "G" and "B" on the obverse as shown in my photo or, does your information not include those letters?

It is my error, the legend is correctly D. G. DUX B. ET L. as the coin says. Typing was apparently not my strong suit last night.
