Poll Question
The nearest one to me is 45 minutes away, and with gas prices being so high I hardly go any more. But when I do go I usually go in with $100 and come out with three or so coins.

Over an hours drive in any direction. That's why I have to purchase 95% of my stuff online. Slim pickings when you live out in the sticks of NH.

In Omaha the only good coin shop was right across the hall in the Mall I worked in Now I have to drive 30-35min to get to one downtown....not even worth the gas to go.

15-20 minutes. He used to be 10-15, but we both moved in opposite directions!

There is a coin shop 20 minutes or so away , but I can't do business with the guy He has got to be the worst business man I have ever met .
most of my coins are bought online or from private parties who I go out of my way to meet !

A few minutes (two subway stops) from here, there are two coin shops, so I voted "5-10". Could be a little more when I'm slow, hehe.

Not far for one, but I try avoiding that one because the owner is not a nice person, to put things nicely, and the other is kinda a drive, where the seller will give you free supplies with the more you buy

I will be the loser in this one
There is a coin shop within an hour of my house, but I only purchase 2x2s plastic pages and other supplies from them.
I live in the USA and I am a collector of Australian Coins and banknotes.
I have yet to find a coin shop here that has anything worth purchasing that includes visiting the FUN show. So when I get back to Australia every couple of year aprox. 12,000 miles.
Then I visit local coin shops and there are a couple within reasonable traveling distance.
Other than that the nearest coin shop is just a few feet from my front door - know as the mailbox (post box for you Aussies) and I shop in the comfort of my home on line and I make a fair few phone calls to Australia to talk with dealers and collectors.
Collecting Australian coins is fun

There is a coin shop 15 minutes from my house but it is only open 9 hours a week. I've never actually been inside.
