I've noticed this up for sale here, with absolutely no description other than "1 dollar". This is the full resolution of the pic they posted. Current bid is $34.50.

I'd like to ask you what is this, is this fake, and what it's worth.

Not that I want to buy it, but I'd like to know nontheless.

Some-Note.
Rest in Peace

This is an obsolete note. I think it is from New York. Obsolete paper money was issued by states, towns, banks and local businesses. This ended after the civil war when the government pushed obsolete money out and started the national banking system.

I paid $12.00 dollars for this one. I thought it was neat to see notes were used in place of coins in some states during the civil war.

Seeking:More notes

I have something like that, it is a canadian 25 cent note, from the 1900's. It is pretty cool! Some-Note.
