What I think I see is the Spread between the 6 and 9, the scratch lines on the front and back but I see also a crack over the eye, an almost shadow T under the T in the photo and maybe 2 others and messed up initials on the reverse.
I just see a coin from a normal die. The die scratches are not a doubled die. The devices that if they were doubled, would make it a doubled die. So what hub doubling are you seeing?
What I think I don't see is a match concerning mint mark location. If I see that, I would stop comparison to that specific obverse die and move forward to next. Thanks, Doug.
This DDO-001 is very minor. Just had to enlarge the images and put them together to see it. All the extra images on the site are normal, just that one area affected. So when you match up the normal images, they will match every coin pretty much. Just have to read the description of see what areas to look at:
Quote: Description: Medium spread West on lower 6 and upper 9 of date.
