It seems the hype has subsided for the so-called branch mint ASE bullion coins. Nonetheless, low actual mintages are interesting, but collector interest not so much. The TV coin guys hype them from time to time, but I don't think their typical audience is inclined to purchase them. Quite a few seem to have ended up in ANACS holders for some reason (volume pricing perhaps?) Opinions on the future of such coins?

I will never understand your obsession with the TV guys and the countless threads about it.

That said the big one has a contract with ANACS, at one point in time ANACS lost a lawsuit to ICG about using insider information to steal the contract away from them. Draw your own conclusions about it

As far as grading paying big premiums for ANACS moderns, well.........

For the record yes the "branch mint" ASEs are a real thing and popular, but for the P mint price stick to PCGS or at least NGC

Exactly like fox showed. Like it or not it is a real thing. You don't have to pay up for it or care but denying it is disengenious.
