It's been awhile since I have bought any US coins because currently I am focusing on markka coins from Grand Duchy of Finland.

But this one was in a batch of coins at local auction. And it seems to be in a fairly good condition so I bought it since I got it with starting bid.

Very nice!

From the images, I would say the coin's reverse is mint state while the darkened areas on the high points of the obverse that appear to cause luster breaks suggest a high AU.

A nice coin no matter what - Congrats on the pickup!
