A bit of info on Queen Anne should be quite useful also. She was born on 6th February 1665, the second daughter of James II and last member of the House of Stuart and died 1st August 1714 leaving no heir despite having many offspring, the exact number of which is disputed - some sources give 18!
Because of this dire fortune the Crown passed to George I of the House of Hanover, a cousin.

She presided of the Union of England and Scotland (1707).

Anne in her prime. Quite a hottie.
