I don't think your half dollar could be the 67 FS-101. The FS-101 is a SMS DDO-006, I think yours is a BS FS-102 DDO-007, in the CONECA listing. http://varietyvista.com/Variety%20M...967-1970.htmSee if you can match up the Stage of your coin using the listing.

Attached are two photos of, a marker for the CONECA listed 67 BS DDO-007/DDR-011, Stage C, die scratch southeast from O of GOD, and a photo of the doubling on the stars and stars between the rays for the DDR-011. Also attached is a photo of the stars for the 67 DDO-007, stage D which is a reverse die changed, showing the minor class II spread on upper stars. I believe your half dollar is a 67 BS DDO-007/DDR-011, Stage C.

Grape. Next time you take images of doubled dies, do me a favor, turn the coin 180 degrees different than you are doing now. Let the light fall over the notching and doubling, rather than puting a spot light right on the area you are try to show. That way the glare won't turn that area white. Note these images. I placed the light to allow the light to fall over the devices rather than put a spotlight on what I want to show. You could try a to reduce the light by diffusing it to reduce the glare. A plastic grocery bag for mild light glare, white bond paper for stronger light glare.

Pretty proud of my recent pick up. Are you going to get yours graded? Looks to be at least a 64. Not hijacking thread, just thought it was a good place to add on re: this rare variety.

I will be sending the coin into PCGS within the next week and will let you know what it graded. The coin pictured above in the ANACS holder, I followed it on ebay but couldn't determine from enlarging the photos if it was truly the DDO-007 (those old white holders, ANACS was not known for their accuracy with attributions). The OP asked what it is worth in AU / low MS. The last auction I followed in September 2016 (Heritage) saw a MS64 example in PCGS MS64 condition sell for over $2,100. Currently PCGS price guide list AU58 at $250, MS63 at $450 and MS64 at $2,700.

Yeah, I think ANACS missed the one I posted. Just received the coin, and went over it with a loupe, and don't see anything. Will give it a few more looks, and if it's wrong, will be sending it back.
