Hello, I have a 1972 P, LMC still in the cellophane. It has bubbled obvers that is on the coin itself not the package. Any idea if it's worth grading or just a good conversation piece. Thank you

@Coinguy99, this looks like uneven surface toning. Is it safe to assume there are similar "bubbles" on the rev of the coin?

The cello turns them a different color sometimes.

Spence, you would be correct on that assumption but ever so slightly. Has anyone seen this before. Could not find an example anywhere on the net.

@cg99, there are some folks who pay extra for special toning on their coins, but I'm not one of them. As to whether it makes sense to get this slabbed, my personal opinion is no. I'd keep it in the packaging in a low humidity environment.
