Sorry but this is definitely damage also. You can see where the metal has been pushed out to the margins of the grooves.

If your referring to the rings, they are caused by a coin wrapping/rolling machine. Not an error, PMD

Thank you all. Just getting into learning about errors and varieties. So this helps a lot.
Figured it was some type of PMD.
Can you elaborate on the wrapping machine? They can cause that big of an indent?

First off- I just realized I titled this post with advise instead of advice, and it's driving me crazy. So had to put that out there..
That's crazy! I looked at a few other coins I have and they are definitely what that post was talking about.
All of them only have the damage on one side of the coin. Would both sides of the coin have that marking if it was from a wrapping machine?

Personally, I doubt it's from a wrapping machine due to how it's on both sides. But it's definitely damage - PMD.
