This is a great thread for me because I need to focus on goals. I've been a "see something, buy something" collector for the past few years.

I started to dip my toes back into coins this last year but I'm looking to collect much more actively in 2019.

Two main focuses will be my Roosevelt 8125 and 7070 albums.

Secondary will be picking up silver eagles to assemble a date set.

My biggest goal would be to spend less money than I did this year on coins.

I am right there with you IndianGoldEagle. I have to spend less and calm it down a little in 2019.

my list for 2019 is huge:

buy more gold and buy more silver. I'm primarily after silver eagles, but I recently acquired an AU 1853 quarter eagle gold & I want another.

I have just one goal for 2019. I keep filling empty holes in my world coin type (and subtype) set collection.

@IndianGoldEagle. I am in the same boat. I got very active in CCF in 2018

But that energized my collecting interests (one in particular) leading to more buying ... so I need to tone it down in 2019

So, I am ALL IN ON A DEC. 29 2018 AUCTION!

I would like to acquire an Indian square gold Mohur.

A small number of them have come up in international auctions in the last 10 years, but I have always bid too low.

My goal in 2019 is to find an $1 Australian 2000 mule. Smaller goals is to keep obtaining low mintage coins and interesting errors. Always to remain patient when buying and selling.

2018 - my first year on CCF - was a great experience - perhaps ending with "pillarship" before the 31st

I hope to experience more of the friendly and positive community next year; and with some luck pick up a few rare and nice new pieces .
