Hello. I'm not sure if this has the thickness of WDDO-006, or I am just seeing things. Looks like it could be DDD or hub doubling but I thought I would take a shot at it. Thank you and happy hunting! (I couldn't put a side by side of the LIBE because it wouldn't fit, even with all the cropping and sizing I could) Collector of U.S. Coins, Varieties, and Colonial Coinage

You might have a Doubled Die Obverse, but it doesn't match this one though.

CoinHunter27, it's possible that it might be unlisted actually. I remember finding one with strong extra thickness in "LIBERTY", but I couldn't match it, so I think it's a new unlisted Doubled Die. I sent my package of Doubled Dies out to John A. Wexler on Monday. Anyways, if you have enough Doubled Dies (at least 5 to send), I would send them to John A. Wexler to have them attributed.

Hm. I'll have to see what I can do. Do I have to send 5? I don't have a lot of DDOs. Maybe your coin will get put in his site as a new listing and mine will match.

You need to reduce the glare. Try a curtain between the sight source before it gets to the coin. It will remove the glare. For softer light a diffusion can be achieved with a curtain with of a plastic grocery bag. For stronger light you need probably bond white paper to cut glare and reduce the spotlight affect.
The devices on your coin looks wider than the brown image you are comparing it with. (ERTY)

I'll see what I can do later. I do not have access to my coin right now. I'll try for better pictures when I have it, I'll put them up as soon as I can. Around 3:30-4:00 maybe.

I've got quite a few really different looking 2017 P cents. I also have quite a few of the DDO-001's I picked at a bank up North. The ones in the tubes I am just waiting to see if the designers initials are called a DDR. I have a few 2018 D's that the designers initials are thicker than normal.

Very neat Jim. I have a full bank roll of 2018-D, and so many more of them. If you get the designers initials as a DDR in Wexlers varieties I might have to crack open my roll. Happy Hunting! -CH27

That's a lot better. Maybe that will help in your search. I'll check the images later. Be back later.
