These are on the light side but I think these are roller lines?

How common are these on 70's and 80's cents?

It looks like the Mint's printer was running low on cyan.

They are slight, but they do seem to be roller lines.

I agree they are roller lines. They are common and I only keep them when they are at least moderate to severe and on both sides, but yours is just minor. Keep till you find a better one.

You're correct. As said, they are common to find for some reason.

They seem to appear after the original finish goes away, and wear off during later circulation. No premium for these.

Curious if this coin shows any rotation? The two sided lines usually run in the same direction in reference to the rolled stock before blanking and reflects a similar orientation on the obverse and reverse after strike. Thanks, Doug.

No rotation on the coin...

Last night was going through coins I had put aside months back, found this one I had labeled it "Woodie?"...

Found a post on another 80's coin that they thought was a "woodie"... This is how I found out about roller lines, didn't know much about them prior to last night!

It looked like roller lines, but does still have a finish on it, so the lines were light looking...was hard to get pics of the roller lines when the light was in certain angles or I was too far or too close to the coin.

I will keep for now, as an example of roller lines ;)

Thanks for the input!
