I have seen plenty of die chips in the date of the early 50's...but this one takes the cake!

Also looking at the mint mark... is there a RPM? hmmm...

Thanks for looking!

I think there are other forces at work aside die chips.

Very nice broken post on the number 9 in the date though!

Spruette - I was wondering if there were other happening on the date. But assumed they are all just die chips.

I see some LAM peels starting on the coin, above the date and above the 4?

And I saw that there is some sort of doubling on the 5 of date and possibly mint mark, but I assumed those were either MD or figured it was something caused from die chips in the area?

That is what I was asking about possible RPM on the east side... but I saw no matches.

What is the proper label for this one?

Should I label it... Post break on the 9 of date or Die Chips on date...?

All my other 50's coins I have found with die chips on 9 or 5 or both I have just labeled "die chips in date"...

Thanks!
