$20 St. Gaudain With Some Edge Nicks - Straight Or Details Grade?

Clogmaster New Member Malta 16 Posts	Posted 12/13/2018 07:36 am Hi guys, I have found a nice 20$ in good overall condition, but it has some edge knocks. How would these affect the grade? Is it bad enough to body-bag the coin, or will it knock down the numeral grade by a point or two? Thank you for your experience and opinion. Report this Post to the Staff

The other side is very good, equal or better than this side. But, since the value is in getting a numerical grade rather than details I am not sure if it makes sense to grade it at all. Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6386 Posts	Posted 12/18/2018 10:39 am There is little to no premium for the 1915 in circulated grade, despite it's "better date" status. Considering a recent ebay example in PCGS MS-63 went for less than $1500, your AU coin with possible rim damage would likely fetch a near-bullion value. I'd guess $1250-$1300.
