Maybe like this: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com...oins-2254254

One thought is that while glue won't generally affect well circulated cents in the short term, if it is left on the coins for a long time (think years), then it will protect the covered part of the coin from further toning which causes the coin to have undesirable toning. I would offset these cautions with the possibility of inspiring a young person to become a numismatist. In that case, I think you should go for it.

My friend tiled his entire bathroom floor using thousands of wheat cents mixed with Indian cents, the whole thing covered in transparent epoxy.

Yes ims having trouble posting thr picbut when I get home I'm getting back on it I just got a max- see and it's difficul. I also think tiling the pennies is wonderful, otherwise they sit in the a box. I just want to be respectful with making an American money tree. I'm not Chinese although I like they're pretty gold trees. Ad help to yes on LED ZEPLIN and roll hunting and keeping the neighbors amused. Yes,thank you I felt guilty putting that super glue on mt test coin it's like a sin and I'm not putting anyone's in the pennies.my idea is to pace them in side the silk flowers .its a gift fora very good friend se wanted to know what I was going to surprise her with.myaswerwas it's nothing you've ever wished for but she'll get the message how much I care for her in her situation right now. Besides,I'm a COIN ROLLING GANGSTEr . Thanks to all

I am trying to convince my wife to let me redo my office floor in pennies with epoxy like this. I would use mostly Zincolns but sprinkle a few wheats and the occasional IHC and dime to spice it up a little.

If we decide to stay in this house for the duration I might be able to do it but it is more likely that we will build new and once we get settled I have a better shot.

I am just not sure of the epoxy would hold up to wheeled office chairs as well as the ceramic tile we have now.

It won't. Over time the wheels will pick up dirt and grit and rubbing it on the epoxy would be just like taking sandpaper to it.

My neighbor (who has no idea I collect coins... let alone cents), knocked on my door a few months ago and wanted to show me his "project". He was tiling his kitchen floor with pennies. He was about 3/4 of the way done and he had three bank boxes of pennies sitting there.

Now I ask you....

Do you know how hard it was for me not to want to go to my apartment get a loupe and get on my hands and knees to inspect all the dates?

It does look very cool, and it seems to be holding up months later...

Ha you would think so, but between work, his hobbies, weekends at church, and occasionally volunteering his time for weeks overseas helping build schools and bathroom facilities for third world peoples, let alone raising multiple children at home, there's no way I could ever keep up with this guy!
