I found this in my change its looks like it has the copper in the middle and the silver on both the top and bottom of the dime I never saw that before I have 6 other 1965 dime just wondering why this one look like this thanks
Looks like it was dipped into acid. Certain types of acid affect copper differently than the clad areas: This one was a silver coin that was reduced. A different acid affected the copper. Just don't know what acids do that. I'm not much into acid:
