1854-O-Seated-Liberty-With-Die-Cracks-And-Die-Fragment?

Difficult to photograph all the defects in one shot. Obvious die cracks on the left and right of the obverse. It also appears that a die fragment or other debris partially occluded the '1' in the date. What do you think?

Regards,
Kevin

Do you have pictures of the reverse? Hard to tell but I would say PMD to the 1. I would grade it VF details and it looks like a WB-101, WB-20 variety. The WB-20 has a rarity of R5.

Thanks Heymikep for your reply. Attached here is the reverse. Would you hazard a guess on the value of this coin?

Thank you jbuck! I'm glad to have found this fine forum. I'm finding some very interesting discussions as I'm going through my collection, which has been collecting dust for several decades.

This year and mm are very common but since this is a rare die marriage I would say a ballpark price would be somewhere around $115-$125.
