On the fence. Need better pics. Check CC's site, and post pics exactly like they are on that site.Include the reverse die marker. John1

It's the real thing, nice find. @John1 the doubling matches up on IGWT and the date check tops and tails of 9s and the 1.

Congratulations, that's one scarce die variety. Great pics on that one. Regardless of spots its still one awesome addition to any collection one that few have and coveted by me at least. Good eye.

Thx again guys. Didn't know this was so scarce. Does that mean easily missed or just not a lot of them where made ?

Probably the only way to answer that would be to either find one in a late die stage (they are just not being found), or to find enough of them all in early die stage to assume that's all there are (they are naturally rare). But almost none of these have been photographed in a place where they can be looked at so kinda hard to know. Heck, I've never photographed or published mine and I put lots of stuff on here and ebay. As a side note, not too long ago I asked one of the guys who helped put together the CherryPickers' Guide by letting them use a lot of his coins for the photos if he had ever seen one of these. He thought about it and said that, no, he had never seen one.

I would like to see close ups of the rim area. The reverse looks like it is entering LDS. What I can see from the images of the obverse if looks like MDS so that would place it at 250K?

You looking for flow lines inside the rim front & back? At work now so will have to be later or tomorrow. I see what you're getting at though, that there could be at least that many plus or minus.

The reverse on mine is also entering or in LDS and looks pretty close to this one as to die state.
