I don't know if this is an error or not, so I thought I would ask the experts.I'm interested in the area left of the mint mark.
Any help is appreciated.

What is the discrepancy you see - the mark beneath the first E?

Yes Coinfrog, that is what I'm wondering about.
Thanks.

Where would a 6 or 8 even come from? Not a dropped letter or number. Leaning towards PSD.

Must be PSD. Could we see a close-up of that area please?
Rest in Peace

Forgot to click a close-up. Definitely just a curious-looking remnant of circulation.

Looks like a small S below the E. Can we get a close up photo with the coin at an angle to see if it is raised?

A "6 below E"? or "6 West of S"? I don't think it is anything of significance. I, too, think it is some kind of post mint damage.

Probably just PSD.
Thanks to all who gave me their opinion.
