I thought it was just damage but the whole T is inside the furrow. What is this? I showed the back too and nothing I could see.

It is a peeled lamination.it's a keeper.

Could very well be, so it actually could have de-laminated from the planchet before the strike!

I was thinking the same thing that Mark was. Damaged planchet before being stamped.

Nice lamination. But it fell out after the strike.
There would not have been metal available to fill the T if it fell out before the strike.
There are other areas of lamination visible as well in the OP's last image.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
