@Sasygrl5591, those circular scratches are PMD, potentially caused by a Coin Wrapping Machine. The '82 has a rim ding.


If you are interested in learning more about Cuds, then I recommend spending some time at the cuds-on-coins website. It will be worth your time.

Here is what a cracked die, rim Cud die and a Die Cud die would look like:
1989-P-1989-D-1982-D-Washington-Quarters-Possible-Cuds?-I'm-New-To-Coins,-So-I'm-Learning.
The marks on your coin is from damage and they are incuse. A die event of any of these three, would leave a raised area on the coins.
