Of the contemporary circulating sort, I believe. It might've been originally silver plated or washed, or maybe even just tinned. Current weight comes in at 22.6 grams.

Not bad. I like to collect coins like this.
Especially the ones made of base metal poking through with a wash or plating wearing or peeling away.
Here's a copper rupee with silver flaking off.
