I've never heard of coins with celebrating gender diversity as a theme, That's cool!
Any idea if this be released alongside the normal loonie or replace it?

Quote: Any idea if this be released alongside the normal loonie or replace it? It will probably be replaced by the Pride Loonie.

No IGE, it's supposed to have 2 faces combining to make 1 on it. We'll see.

Maybe it will be like the rare "Kissing Lincoln" penny that was shown on a "Simpsons" episode shown years ago.

YES, that's the coin I was thinking of. I only need the 1909s-VDB and the "K-L" to complete my Lincoln set. I've seen lots of 1909's at coin shows and on ebay but they are always too expensive for me; but I've NEVER seen the "K-L" anywhere! Anyway, it looks like another Loonie (or loonie-ish) coin for me to buy next year. I'll add it to my list of 10-14 other yearly Canadian dollar coins.
