1968s mint mark would this be a RPM? Also it looks like it could be S Over D

I don't think it's an RPM or An S/D. If you look at 196 in 1968 you can see it has the same effect going on under the devices. That or it's highlights from the lighting you used. Happy hunting!

I agree with Chase. It's a normal coin. You can safely toss this one back into your spending pile if you want.

Keep in mind the way dies devices wear. On the mint mark area, they tend to flow to the rim in a SE direction. So the metal movement your seeing is die wear.
