Is this a DDO on the head, or MD?

Nothing jumps out at me. Wexlers lists a couple that are pretty minor on that area, but to me they are hard to tell the MD from the DDO ones.

Isn't that re-tooling of the master die, and common back then?

The retooled area was the neckline. The master hub was weakening because oh age. It was widening. In 1969 it was replaced. But it created a lot of master dies. I need to make a progressive view of the dies widening. (The more you research something, the more you learn. I guess I'm more of a reverse design engineer. See the problem, and look to see the progression of the problem)
