Before I even ask I know what you are going to say... never clean a coin. But this one looks like it went through a fire! Is it possible to clean it? It is silver (.400)

To me it just looks well worn and tarnished.

There are a lot of threads here on how to approach gentle cleaning ... try the search function and I think you;ll find them.

Don't both to clean it-except an acetone soak if you feel it is necessary. All the Swedish .400 coins tend to tone like that.

I think it looks rather decent, so an acetone rinse and nothing else.

Konung means king.
The denomination is actually One Kronor.
