biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 07/30/2008 6:49 pm You are way off, but in a good way Peace dollars are notorious for flat strikes and low relief but I see little to no wear at the high points(hairline from forehead to ear and the right shoulder of the eagle) and the fields are clean. Minimally, this is an AU58 but it could go as high as MS63, it just depends on whether there is any rub present or not. I am pretty adept at grading Peace dollars in hand but I sometimes have difficulty telling a high AU slider from an MS coin in photos. Report this Post to the Staff
