I see something on the E in WE and the nose ... it looks flat ... may be Mechanical Doubling ?

I was thinking Mechanical Doubling also.. The nose, lips chin & forehead also the W & E..

@Jeromed, first welcome to CCF. Second, when I rotate, enlarge, and enhance the area of interest on your coin, the doubling looks shelf-like to me. I'd say it is MD.
