By the way if that's a 2021 $1 with serial number A 22230548 A, that was mine; I was at Schooner Wharf on Jan 3rd to see Gary Hempsey and must have lost it on my walk about.
it is, but C 5909whatever.. if you were at schooner wharf (a place I haven't been to in 20+ years) & went walking I doubt that you walked the two miles to my dollar-leaking building. in fact I doubt that anyone does.
I was just kidding MrPink. I have had many trips to the Keys, been to Schooner Wharf a few times, when Gary was playing there. Did some sea kayaking off Big Coppitt Key... lots of fun stuff to do and see besides Duval Street and Key West! Not knocking it, I've spent time there in my youth and had great fun doing that as well.

Except the kitties!
Best of luck on your finds! Thanks for sharing them!

i wish I would have arrived here 10 years sooner, like right out of high school (instead of joining the army). oh well.. yeah, I've done all of that, bar crawls, kayaking the back country, snorkeling the reef, beaching, fantasy fest, turtle club, bocce, etc... I'm technically a fresh water conch now, I only lack the certificate to make it official.

...not that it can't be done, mind you... I walk across the island in any random direction frequently enough, most anyone could do it.. it's easier to do when it's not summer..
in 2016/17 I had a neighbor who was a bartender at the half shell bar, a few years ago he told me his money-finding story: he was leaving work one day, walking through the parking lot and he noticed several $100 bills blowing through, skipping along on the asphalt in the strong breeze, and he managed to chase down seven of them.
Quote: tonight I picked a well-scattered ninety-seven cents, plus my first dollar bill of the year and the first dollar bill since september 30 last year:
