Looks like someone was using it for a skateboard on a smooth cement flow. PSD Intentional. Didn't happen at the mint.

@FC, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes both sides of this coin have been abraded. The copper plating was removed and the underlying zinc core exposed. This coin is a spender.
