If you folks remember recently I highlighted an article from a Peter Lewis on Brockage errors in which he explains how they are created. Well in my dealings I found a very nice example of an As of Augustus (12 grams, 26 mm) and had some fun with a photoshop flip and inverse of the error side to make the head out even better then the correct strike in my opinion! (You can certainly get more of the letters from the brockage error side.) The article is below again as now that I am looking for these it is much more interesting to me when I find one and not of a common coin like a mass produced fourth century series etc. Almost hard to believe the person doing the striking did not notice the 12 grams stuck on the die!

Good job with Photoshop there, Joe. It does make the imprint clear. Neat minting error.
