i have been looking around for some "RELIABLE" metal detectors and I have seen these two for now..

http://cgi.ebay.ph/METAL-DETECTOR-g...08_W0QQitemZ200233600232QQihZ010QQcategoryZ171QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

and this http://metaldetectors.ecrater.com/p...hp?pid=57734

the later has a description which is very interesting for me------>>>>>

Sophisticated information like this is invaluable, especially when a detection signal can be attributed to any one of several similarly conductive but different sized objects.

For example, a coin, a screw top and a drink can will all trigger a penny signal. Without size information you have no idea what the target really is until you dig it up.

The GTI's ability to determine a detected target's size takes the guesswork out of the hunt so you don't waste time digging unwanted items like trash.

Rest in Peace

Hi,

I'm the second listing, just so you know my bias.

First, I've never heard of the first machine, and I've sold many brands of detectors since 1975. Past experience tells me you're almost always gonna get burned on some off-brand machine. The testimonial in the ad is meaningless, since what it found might have been findable with some kid's toy detector. Why compare to a Garrett? Because they know Garrett makes great detectors. So why not just buy a known great detector?!

The GTI2500 is the ultimate machine, if you're willing to pay the money.

If you have any questions feel free to email.
