Hi,
I am not a coin collector but I came across this penny. It looks gold. I is the shiniest penny I have ever seen. Does anyone know anything about it? It might be nothing but I've seen a lot of pennies in my life and never anything as shiny as this.

I see some zinc rot and flow lines.
What you have is a penny that still has 'mint shine' to it.

To me it looks plated. It may look nice, but the surface is altered. Face value if that is the case.
