The group with my Marc Antony portrait denarius (which seems to be a violently cancelled fouree) arrived and the lot was much better than expected - especially for $20 all told, which is probably how much the Tetricus ants are worth on their own.

Two Tetricii in there - a Tetricus II with a lustrous obverse but a reverse struck from a worn out die and a Tetricus I with a crisp hilaritas reverse and a good enough strike to fully define the raised lines of the radiate crown on the obverse.

Two coins I expected to be bronze turned out to be silver - one denarius of Elagabalus in rough condition and one entirely uncleaned billon ant of Gallienus. Some encrustations to be removed on the Gallienus, but I think it will come out well. I'll get pictures if it comes out nicely.

The only two other coins are nice SPES REIPVBLICAs of Constantius II.

Wow - really well done, Ben. Even if the sale had just consisted of those two Tetricus antoniniani it would be terrific. Nice holiday-gift-to-self. Congrats.

Great deal Ben, I was looking at some today and the silvered examples (like yours) certainly fetch a pretty penny.

Congrats - I'm jealous though
