It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD) unfortunately. You might have a Dryer Coin.

That poor coin has had a tough life. It appears to be damaged. Wearing down devices, such as letters, makes them appear thicker since the base of the letters is wider than the top on a fresh coin.

Could've added new images to the original post to keep things together. http://goccf.com/t/336107

The added obverse image seems to confirm the coin was alter after strike. I was looking to see if the plating showed signs of disturbance or flaking. Both a Dryer Coin or Texas Cent (as well as other things) can typically show signs of disturbed plating and flattened devices. Thanks, Doug.

When you see this, you know your coin was altered after it was struck. PSD

I hear Dryer Coin. Ok. But how come every letter Is miss shaped. You can see the double rim pinched on the top. On the on the back side. The pillers are like almost. I'm new at this but its the same odd shape enters on front. The letters are below the rim on most the coin. So how can it where on them to make it shaped. Tha way. I'm only trying to understand so I may learn from this

I like to show you what I see on a coin. That way you can copy the image and save them for your educational files.
