To the CCF

Always show both sides of the coin.
Don't see any errors on the Obverse, just circulation wear
with a slight misalignment. Not enough to increase value.

@ML, first welcome to CCF. Second, if you could be a little more explicit with what errors you see with the coin in hand that would be great. As @jimmyD noted, there appears to have been a slight misaligned die, but a pic of the rev would help to confirm.

Agree, just heavy circulation wear and some environmental discoloring.

That's what I call 'beat with an ugly stick".

It was a nice coin when it was new but it has circulated heavily for thirty years and then a few years ago it suffered some event, and then had a little more wear.

Coins used to get a lot of wear in pockets and these scratches would wear away in time. Now days most of their wear is in tiny collisions going through coin counters and they just accumulate more little scratches and dings.

It's getting hard to find nice evenly worn old clad.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.
