1927 Wheat Penny Mint Error? - Coin Community Forum

LindsayS New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 01/05/2019 7:16 pm Hi everyone! I found this 1927 Wheat penny and it seems to have a mint error but I can't seem to find on google. There is a raised line where "in" should be (In God we Trust). Hoping someone could maybe shed some light! Thanks in advance! Report this Post to the Staff

It pushed the entire word in up into a line. You can see a mark on the G in God as well. Not a mint error, sorry. Welcome to the forums! Report this Post to the Staff

(I shoot my photos with a cell phone as well) if you have a macro lens to attach, that is super helpful. If you don't, try to shoot the clearest picture that you possibly can. (With coin out of the 2x2) Zooming in before you take the picture and trying for the clearest shot is helpful. All just my reccomendations.
