I just realized that @leakcim is from Portugal and the 10 baht coin is very very similar to the 2 euro coin.

10 baht:

10 THB = 0.31 USD
Metal Bi-Metallic Aluminium-bronze center in Copper-nickel ring
Weight 8.5 g
Diameter 26 mm
Thickness 2.15 mm

2 euro:

2 EUR = 2.28 USD
Metal Bi-Metallic Nickel-brass clad Nickel center in Copper-nickel ring
Weight 8.5 g
Diameter 25.75 mm
Thickness 2.2 mm

It could be VERY esy to slip a few 10 baht coins into circulation (and make a tidy profit).

agreed they are similar, but I think that most people don't do this on purpose, usually accidental (use foreign money to fool you).
