I think I have the WDDO-002 variety. IN GOD WE TRUST with the W looking strong and LIBERTY with the L being a tell for me. What do you guys think? Exploring photos with my microscope so hope they are of a fair quality. Thanks in advance!

Definitely a real DDO! We'll need much more pictures to determine which atribution number it is.

it's a DDO for sure. We will need better pictures to figure out which one though. A picture of the date as well would be very helpful.

Congrats! The B in LIBERTY stood out the most to me in your first post. Check out Dorado's link to see if you can identify which one it is.

Thank you for all the advice and the link. From what I can tell I'm thinking it is the DDO-002 variety.

Here is LIBERTY on the 002 & 007:

Also there is a marker on the 'WE' on 007

Upper left hand quarter of the 'W".

I was torn between the 002 and the 007 but I think the 002 is what I have. Looking at the E in WE I think is what put me into that thinking. Let me know if I am mistaken the the upper part of the E looks different in the 007 sample than in my coin.

Note the areas with the white arrows on my images. Those areas are the ones that I noticed as being different.

Thank you for helping so much and putting such time into the references. I do see what you are talking about. So you think it is the 007 then? I certainly can be convinced that is is.

I'll say it is a 007. The spread in "GOD" and "TRUST" on your coin is not as strong as Wexler's 002.

With the help of coop's images, the W in WE looks more like the 007. The spread in LIBERTY isn't as drastic as the 002, but still visible. Nice find!
