I have a 1982 LMC (zinc) that looks like the reverse is the 1983 doubled die. First, I wanted to ask if this is even possible.I have several other 1982 LMC small date zinc's and the reverse doesn't look the same as this one. It looks identical to the 1983 reverse. Second question is, if it was possible, could it be verified?

@RH1, possible? Sure. Best way to start is by attaching some pics to this thread so that we can take a look at what you've got there.

Thanks for the images. It's a small date, so that's a good thing. Can you post any closeups of the areas you are see something?

Nice coin. I think I can see what you mean on 'ONE CENT'? I usually look at the 'E PLURIBUS UNUM'portion on these. Interesting.

That is neither the DDR-001 or DDR-002. For your cent to have been either one of those you could easily tell just by looking at E PLURIBUS UNUM.

I'll try and get better pics of the E pluribus. But here is one that I see what looks like doubling.

It looks normal. But the coin is in a nicer die state. I would keep it for that alone.

1982 small zinc WDDR-001 should look like this. I found it in Jan 2019. I am trying to find out how many are known to exist. Note: first time posting.

levelsofmadnes to CCF. Very nice find. You might consider using some Verdi-Care on it. John1

@lom, if you use the search box in theupper left hand part of your screen with the key word VERDICARE, you will find a bunch of prior threads talking about this product.
