Wrong. The 'bird's foot' flaw is found only on 1918 pennies which have the letters KN to the left of the date.

If you wish to consider 50 years experience 'clueless' be my guest. It is true the bird's foot flaw does appear on pennies other than 1918KN, but to suggest if yours is not a KN then it has to be a bird's foot is nonsense. The flaw is quite scarce, but for your statement to be correct all non KN 1918 pennies would have to include it. This would mean tens of millions of pennies of that date and with the flaw, which would make the flaw standard for the issue and not scarce at all. All the coins of which you have uploaded photos are common, in poor condition, and have zero value.

You got me wrong.I did not suggest that.I showed you 1918 penny, you might not see bird`s foot on it cause it is scan.It is true.I will suprise your 50years of experience cause there is penny 1919 with much larger big foot on it,I have it

Then I suggest it might be a good idea to find someone to help write your posts as, at present, they are rather confusing. To quote you "If there is no mint marks to the left of date, there is bird`s foot instead:" The meaning of what you have said there is; any 1918 penny which does not have the KN mintmark will have the bird's foot flaw.

I began my first reply by suggesting it isn't. However, if you can take a clearer photo, crop out all the unnecessary white background, have the coin showing larger and the correct way up, we will better be able to make a definitive judgement for you.

Please show where I said I'd never heard of it. Your posts are becoming more and more confusing. And as for your Gran having owned a 1933 penny, well now you're just making yourself look silly.

pawcio....put your JCB away and lock away the keys....the hole you are digging is big enough.Read up on the suggested books and by all means ask questions.Think them through 1st and you will get reasoned answers.
