i reciently found a 1968 S cent. weer there business strikes for this year - or were the all proofs - by 1968.

The San Francisco mint produced both business strikes and proof coins from 1968-1974. They went to proof only from 1975 onward.

dbrablec, you made me reference my RedBook, which seems to reference production of both proof and business strikes. Now I have a follow up question for all. Is 1968 the first year the San Francisco mint, minted proofs for cents? Thanks, Doug.
