One last question along with the maybe Morgan dollars I am sending some modern proof.

But I am sending in my five 2006 Gold Buffalo $50.00 proofs.

Does it matter sending these to ANA for grading or would NGC or one of the others stand a better chance of these five gold proofs getting a PF70

Rest in Peace

NGC would be more likely to grade them MS70. Which is why a NGC 70 is worth about the same as a PCGS 69.

Nah, an NGC 70 is still worth more than a PCGS 69, but a PCGS 70 is worth way more than NGC.

better chance for 70 with ANACS...but NGC and PCGS command higher prices at sale
It's a toss up...I'd go with PCGS for TPG...they have the best rep and prices for resale.IMHO

Well sent the coins off to NGC to be graded decided on sending the Statehood Silver Quarters in sent 1999 and 2000 also four 2006 gold buffalo Proofs will see what they come back at they all looked like PF70 to me. Sent the one gold proof to NCS to be cleaned 1st.

Will post what they came back at. WOW shipping is expensive though the one gold I sent to NCS insured and parity mail cost about $ 24.00 to ship the other 12 coins I sent registered insured and they were about $ 22.00 so sending it registered insured is cheaper.

I plan to send all the statehood silver quarters in to get graded 8 a a time so I have the entire set. Should get two done as I have two kids but grading is just so expensive WOW.

Most people that have never submitted don't really know the total cost of certifying a coin. All they are looking is the grading fee when shipping, handling and insurance (both ways) can nearly double that.
